Allison's Farm History
The Allison family began farming in Georgetown in 1967, after relocating from their family farm in Mississauga. William and Isla Allison opened the first farm market on their property in 1975, specializing in Sweet Corn during the summer months, and Pumpkins in the fall.
In 1997, their son, Bob Allison built a new farm market, continuing to sell the farm-fresh produce his family had earned a reputation for—which grew to include Tomatoes, Beans, Cucumbers, Peppers, Plums, Apples, Berries and more.
As the business grew, Bob expanded the building to create more room for produce from other local farmers. Today, we still harvest our own famous Sweet Corn and Pumpkins, while bringing in other Ontario farm-favourites.
